Phil Jackson is a talented artist and with his wife Jan is a great lover of dogs, especially Irish Water Spaniels, and they are involved with many dog training activities. However, as you will see, although he has painted many working Irish Water Spaniels, he doesn't just limit himself to the breed.

He works in Acrylics, mostly on commissions and he has mounted prints available of most of his pictures, although some are limited editions.

As someone who has the interests of the working Irish Water Spaniel at heart, he regularly donates money raised from his Irish Water Spaniel prints to the Sporting Irish Water Spaniel Club, to help further the cause of the Irish Water Spaniel as an endangered working gun dog breed.
